    Historical garments from the Victorian era are hard to come by, but this authentic plaid skirt is just what the doctor ordered. Perfect piece to add to a reenactment collection and a clothing collector’s dream! It is wearable, although would be best for a collector or as a museum piece. Partner with a blouse, long gloves, wide brimmed hat, lace-up boots and a parasol for an authentic Victorian look. The top layer of the skirt is linen in ivory with stripes of mint green, black and hints of soft pink. Ruffles and tucks line the skirts base and have black velvet piping. The under layer is thick cotton in pretty pink.   Being over 100 years old, this skirt does have some issues.   There is slight staining to the fabric and some holes.

The detailing is amazingly intricate and makes this one-of-a-kind blouse a fashion collector’s dream!  Made from 100% cotton with Chantilly-like lace finished cuffs. Extending from the waist are 2 side panels with a center v-opening at the front and the back. High cut square neckline and peplum waist typical of Victorian clothing. There are several different weaves that make up intricate paneling; box weave with detailed snapdragon flowers and a fence weave with tightly woven diamonds and daisies among other unique weave techniques. All finished with floral edging. Also features ¾ length semi-raglin style sleeves. An amazing piece to incorporate into your wardrobe that is truly in vintage mint condition.
