1900s Native American Niagara Falls Souvenir Coin Purse
$68.00This Souvenir Coin Purse was made by local Indian tribes women>These souvenirs were enjoyed from the 1890s to the 1920s. The Pan American Games were held in Buffalo, New York in 1901. I'd strongly assume this is from this period. The coin purse has it's own "corny" title ( coins on top and makes up a purse) this was the current advertising trend of the period. for example, post cards showing a frying pan and a image of the statue of liberty advertized for the Pan American Games. This handmade and one-of-a-kind item, is highly valued. Learn More -
