Persian Lamb Caplet

Antique Persian lamb caplet has amazing luster. This classic 1930s through1940s piece can add a special magic to any fall or winter garment. Take note of the back of the cape. The draping of the pelt is simply exqusite. It is ever so elegant. Capes were and are lovely alternative to a heavy jacket or coat. They give just enough warmth to the shoulder and neck.  Re- work the piece or upcycle into a different garment, use pieces to structure or trim out  a dress , coat or suit. Furs make for wonderful upcycle teddy bears .
