This 1920's cotton crochet purse features a shoulder strap allowing for easy and versatile wear. The hand work is amazing from simple box work to a singular large floral design. Accented is a smaller floral design at the flap closure topped off with two netted balls. Fun and whimsical is this unique piece. The base has fluted dangling flowers and the repeated netted balls extend from each. A rite of spring and well into summer will this piece serve. Interesting the 1970's tapped into the crochet work from the 1920's. This antique is cotton lined and has boning at the top which offers structure to the opening. The back of the purse repeats the singular flower. Read below the condition. Personally, I do not mind the aging and feel it gives the piece character as an antique. Condition: Vintage Mint. Although there is light yellowing throughout the piece, the fabric is sturdy and in excellent shape. Note to Buyer: You could spray stain remover and gentle soak in the sink. Do not twist or wring. The lining is attached; know the lining will appear somewhat wrinkled. I'd better suggest mixing lemon juice with water, spraying the item and leave out in the sun. Measurements: 10 x 71/2 (actual bag size not to include the fluted flowers) Strap length is 51 inches
